1. Activities carried out
In our activities, we emphasize the importance of basic understanding of electronics through the construction of simple electrical circuits. In a playful and enjoyable manner, young makers have the opportunity to assemble mini robots equipped with sponges or pens, allowing them to explore creativity by painting or drawing freely. This process not only provides a hands-on introduction to electronics but also stimulates children's imagination and motor skills. We also had the opportunity to create short videos tailored to each group's preferences.
Furthermore, we integrate cutting-edge technology by using Lego WeDo 2.0, an innovative tool that guides children and youth in building and programming robots. Through this interactive application, children are guided step by step, making the learning process more accessible and exciting.
In the textile area, we had the opportunity to print our own t-shirts using materials available in our space. With simple techniques, we achieved excellent results. We also created our own Among Us-inspired dolls, incorporating a very simple electrical circuit and sewing to end up with a lantern for when needed.
To highlight the importance of recycling, we introduced and familiarized participants with the Precious Plastic project and the entire process. For reusing plastic bags, we made bookmarks using only that material in various colors and an iron for bonding the plastic together.
