FabConnectHer is positioned to unlock the potential of Fab Labs in addressing the gender gap in STEAM fields, by empowering future female innovators through inspiration, skills and networks. The project aims to deliver progress that crosses differing ages and motivations of girls and women, whether it's pursuing a career in STEAM or starting a business. 

Central to FabConnectHer are Fab Labs, recognized for their transformative power as dynamic learning centres. These labs offer state-of-the-art equipment and a safe inclusive environment for young girls and women to innovate. The project focuses on creating supportive learning spaces within Fab Labs, enabling mentoring and a Connected Educators Forum. This approach offers a 360-degree innovation in the VET formula, addressing the gap between numerous studies and reports on the gender gap and the need for actionable progress.
